SGD Awards 2021
In 2021 we were delighted to win the 'Paper Landscape' category at the SGD Awards.
'The Murmuration Garden' is a therapeutic garden designed to aid rehabilitation for patients in a hospital setting.
The garden is designed to be accessible to a wide range of very specific needs and allows patients to actively participate in gardening.
The concept was drawn from murmurations of starlings which invoke a sense of fluidity and liberation, inspiring a space which is both uplifting and tranquil.
The judges words: “This design describes, explains, illustrates and, most importantly, seduces the reader into wanting the garden to be built.“

Belvoir Flower Show Competition 2020
In 2020 we were pleased to finally have the chance to create one of the 6 show gardens selected to to be displayed at Belvoir Show.
After several delays caused by covid, the date of the show was finally set for September, which inspired a warm Autumnal palette of plants - very different to the original early Summer palette.
The border is a 'rain garden' and showcases planting adapted to help absorb excess rainwater and reduce flooding, demonstrating the power of plants to provide both beauty and functionality.
