This was a border designed to demonstrate how planting can be used to absorb excess rainwater, reduce localised flooding and the pressure on our drainage system.

The plants used are suited to wet conditions, but can also withstand drought. Combining form and function, the border provides colour well into Autumn, as well as being rich in pollen and nectar for insects.
