THE DESIGN PROCESS
1. Initial Consultation
Helen will meet with you in your garden and go through your likes and dislikes with you, and give you some design ideas.
2. Site Analysis and Survey
For most gardens unless very small, we'll suggest that you get a topographical survey done. This will provide us with all the layout information we need including levels and existing services. We'll then visit your garden and analyse the space, assessing elements such as sun position and the soil.
3.Outline Design
This stage provides the concept for the design of your garden. It includes a plan drawing, visualisations that will provide the look and feel of the space as well as palettes of key materials and plants.
4. Detail Design
Next we'll provide construction drawings and an accurate setting out drawing of the space, as well as written design specifications which will enable a contractor to build the garden.
5. Planting Design
We'll create a palette of plants to suit each area and your taste, and draw up a planting plan and schedule listing all the plants.
6. Tender Process and Build visits
We're on hand during the build and can visit as as often as is required to make site checks . Helen will set out the plants prior to planting.
7. Aftercare
We can provide a maintenance guide for your garden and can make site visits to advise on plant care.
