The clients needed this garden to work hard for them, providing sunny and shady seating in a small amount of space, and an area for socialising. The enclosed side-return was turned into a sunny seating area, with gravel garden planting, and climbers adorning the wall.
 
A bespoke bench planter, planted with herbs and perennials provides a place to sit surrounded by texture and scent. This space is flexible allowing for additional seating to be added when entertaining.
