EPSOM TOWNHOUSE GARDEN

A design for a courtyard garden in Epsom, where the outdoor space was zoned into separate 'rooms' for stylish outdoor living.
A mediterranean influence
The design centres around and is inspired by the woodland bank within the space, and also draws from a Mediterranean influence. The hardscape appears to effortlessly float over the bank, intersecting with rocks, giving the sense of nature and man harmoniously combined.
Lush, green planting and a new multi-stem tree build on the woodland feel and add to the sense of seclusion, as well as connecting to the view beyond. A terrace situated on the bank provides a destination to sit and look over the garden and feel immersed within nature.
The garden supports an outdoor lifestyle with a terrace for dining and barbecues, and includes a sink and work station. Tiling on the workstation provides an opportunity to further personalise the space with a splash of colour and pattern.
Soft, colourful planting surrounds the dining terrace, and provides separation between the dining and productive areas as well as offering scent and seasonal interest.
